Alienware Unveils 39-inch and 34-inch Gaming OLED Monitors with New Technologies

Alienware, a renowned gaming hardware manufacturer, expands its monitor lineup with the announcement of two new OLED models: the 39-inch AW3926QW and the 34-inch AW3426DW. Both models utilize innovative technologies to enhance image quality. The AW3926QW employs RGB Stripe Tandem OLED with a four-layer light structure, achieving higher brightness and contrast compared to traditional WOLED panels.

The AW3926QW is the world's first 39-inch monitor with 5K resolution (5120×2160) and a 165Hz refresh rate. When the resolution is lowered to 2560×1080, the refresh rate increases to 330Hz. The monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync, and features esports modes that allow users to utilize a portion of the screen with predefined settings. The device also incorporates a machine learning system to optimize brightness and extend panel lifespan.

The AW3426DW model is based on a QD-OLED panel with Penta Tandem technology, where the blue light layer is expanded to five levels. This boosts light efficiency by 30% and doubles the panel's lifespan. The display resolution is 3440×1440, with a refresh rate of up to 280Hz and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. Both monitors support HDR and Dolby Vision, and come equipped with HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort ports.

For the more budget-conscious segment, Alienware introduced the AW3226DM and AW3426DWM models with VA panels. They feature resolutions of 2560×1440 and 3440×1440 respectively, a 240Hz refresh rate, and HDR400 support. Both models will be available for purchase in July, priced at $299.99 and $399.99, while the release dates and pricing for the flagship OLED models have yet to be announced.
