AMD Ryzen 7 7700X3D Exclusively Available on Newegg in North America

At Computex 2026, AMD introduced the new Ryzen 7 7700X3D processor, filling the gap between the 7600X3D and 7800X3D models. The chip features 3D V-Cache technology and targets gaming with improved energy efficiency. Priced at $329, it is exclusively available in North America through Newegg.

The Ryzen 7 7700X3D is built on Zen 4 architecture, offering 8 cores and 16 threads. It boasts 104MB of cache and a 120W TDP, with a maximum power limit of 162W. Unlike the 7800X3D, its boost clock is capped at 4.5GHz compared to 5GHz on the flagship model.

In gaming benchmarks, the 7700X3D ranks third among tested chips, trailing only the 7800X3D and 9800X3D. However, its 2% performance lead over the cheaper 7600X3D raises concerns about its $329 price tag. In productivity tasks, it underperforms against Intel’s competitors.

The exclusivity deal with Newegg extends until at least Q3 2026, restricting purchases in the U.S. and Canada to this retailer. Other major stores like Amazon and Micro Center do not carry the chip. Notably, Micro Center holds exclusive rights to sell the Ryzen 5 7600X3D, 7500X3D, and 5600X3D models.
