Apple Unveils WWDC 2026 with New Slogan and Playlist

Apple has announced the start of preparations for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2026, scheduled for June 8. This year’s event features the slogan "All Systems Glow," a play on the phrase "all systems ready," likely referencing anticipated changes in iOS 27. Rumors suggest the new mobile OS version may introduce a dedicated Siri app with a chatbot, dark mode, and glowing interface elements.

For the first time, Apple has released an official WWDC playlist on Apple Music*, featuring 20 tracks from contemporary artists, including Zara Larsson and BTS. The playlist is available on the platform, and the company has also introduced themed wallpapers for Mac, iPad, and iPhone, showcasing the event’s logo in a black-and-chrome color scheme with a glow effect.

In addition to iOS 27, the conference is expected to unveil updated versions of operating systems for Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro headset. However, major hardware announcements are unlikely, as Apple recently introduced the budget MacBook Neo, iPhone 17E, and new MacBook models powered by the M5 chip. A potential foldable iPhone, if announced, is not expected before the September event.

WWDC 2026 could mark a significant milestone, not only due to software updates but also as it may be the last conference where current CEO Tim Cook delivers the keynote. In September, Cook is set to pass leadership to John Ternus, Apple’s senior vice president of software engineering.
