Apple Unveils Siri AI — A Revamped Voice Assistant with AI

At the recent WWDC 2026 conference, Apple finally introduced a completely revamped version of its voice assistant—Siri AI. The update is part of the company’s Apple Intelligence strategy and includes not only enhanced algorithms but also new features such as Visual Intelligence and expanded personalization options.

Siri AI can now not only recognize user context but also perform actions in apps, analyze on-screen content, and even identify people in photos by name. For example, the assistant can create photo albums with specific individuals or locate relevant information in messages and emails. Additionally, text dictation has been improved, and tools for automatically generating documents and emails tailored to the user’s style have been added.

Developers can already test Siri AI in beta versions of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, and visionOS 27. The update will be available to end users later this year, likely alongside the release of new iPhones. Currently, Siri AI supports only English, while its launch in China and some EU countries has been delayed due to regulatory restrictions.

Apple emphasizes that privacy remains a priority: some data processing occurs on-device, and cloud-transmitted queries are neither stored nor accessible, even to company employees. Experts note that Apple now faces the challenge of proving that Siri AI can become a truly useful tool in daily life rather than just catching up to competitors.
