Asus ROG Flow Z13 with 64GB RAM Drops to $2,100: Powerful Gaming Tablet

Asus has slashed the price of its hybrid gaming tablet, the ROG Flow Z13, which combines laptop-level power with tablet portability. The model featuring an AMD Ryzen AI Max Plus 395 'Strix Halo' processor, 64GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD now costs $2,100, down from $3,000. The 32GB RAM version is available for $100 less, but the 64GB configuration offers better value.

Despite its compact size, the device can run modern games at medium to high settings. In tests, the tablet delivered 50–60 frames per second in demanding titles like Elden Ring, and with FSR 3 and frame generation, performance can be even higher. This makes the ROG Flow Z13 a compelling alternative to portable consoles like the Steam Deck OLED, especially considering its kickstand and more powerful hardware.

Beyond gaming, the device is well-suited for resource-intensive tasks thanks to the 'Strix Halo' processor, which ensures high performance and long battery life. While it may not match larger gaming laptops like the Razer Blade 16 or Asus Zephyrus G16 in raw graphics power, its slim and lightweight design allows for use in any setting.
