AT&T Updates Unlimited Plans: What’s Changed and New Pricing

AT&T has refreshed its unlimited plans, rolling out 2.0 versions of its core offerings. The updates impact both pricing and data allowances, while introducing a new premium Elite 2.0 plan. New customers can now customize a plan with minimal costs through the Build-A-Plan option.

The basic Value 2.0 plan offers 5GB of high-speed 5G data for $50 per month per line. Once the limit is reached, speeds may be reduced during network congestion. The plan includes 3GB of mobile hotspot data and unlimited calls and texts in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. Family discounts are available for multiple lines.

The Extra 2.0 plan expands high-speed data to 100GB for $70 per month, with 50GB allocated for mobile hotspot use—20GB more than the previous version. The premium Premium 2.0 plan, priced at $90 per month, provides unlimited 5G without speed restrictions, 4K streaming support, and 100GB of mobile hotspot data.

The new Elite 2.0 plan, at $110 per month, targets travelers and power users. It includes 250GB of hotspot data, unlimited calls and texts to 210 countries, and 20GB of international roaming. An optional AT&T Turbo feature ensures priority access to high-speed data for streaming and video calls.

For new customers, AT&T introduces the flexible Build-A-Plan, allowing users to tailor their plan. The base version costs $15 per month and includes 1GB of data. Additional data or hotspot options can be added for a fee, though international calls and premium services are not supported.
