Cybercriminals are actively targeting Minecraft users in the WeedHack campaign, which has already affected over 116,000 devices. The malware spreads through infected mods, plugins, and third-party sites offering game content. The primary goal of the attack is to steal credentials, payment data, and install additional malicious modules.

Cybersecurity experts note that WeedHack exploits vulnerabilities in unofficial Minecraft clients and uses phishing schemes for infection. Players downloading content from untrusted sources risk falling victim to personal data theft or having their devices turned into part of a botnet.
