Google Health Replaces Fitbit: Users Demand Return of Old App

Google has completed its transition from Fitbit to the new Google Health app, but user reactions have been overwhelmingly negative. The main complaints revolve around drastic interface changes: instead of the familiar statistics display on the home screen, updates from the AI coach and verbose comments on daily activity now dominate.
Users report a limited number of large widgets on the home page and the need for extra steps to view data. For example, to check workout history, users must now navigate to the "Health" section, then "Fitness," and finally open "Exercise days." Previously, all information was accessible on a single screen.
The artificial intelligence integrated into the app has received mixed reactions. Some find it helpful for personalized workouts, but most consider it intrusive and useless. Users complain about the inability to remove the AI coach from the home screen, though it can be disabled in privacy settings.
Google promises to add support for third-party wearables in the future, but currently, many devices, including the Nothing Watch Pro 3, do not fully support the app’s functionality. It remains unclear whether the company plans to address user feedback and restore familiar interface elements.
