Google Cuts Budget AI Plan Price Nearly in Half

Google continues to optimize its AI-based subscriptions, making them more affordable. Recently, the company lowered the price of the AI Plus plan from $8 to $5 per month for users in the U.S. This change comes just a few months after the service was launched earlier this year.

In addition to the price cut, Google has doubled the cloud storage included in the subscription: users now receive 400GB instead of the previous 200GB. This decision aims to enhance the plan's appeal, though it still offers less storage than more expensive options like AI Pro, which includes 5TB.

It's worth noting that AI Plus remains the most affordable AI subscription option from Google but comes with stricter usage limits. Despite this, the updated terms make it a more attractive offer for users who do not require advanced features.

The changes will not only impact the U.S. market—similar price adjustments are expected in other countries soon. Google continues to evolve its services amid fierce competition in the AI space, where new solutions from Apple have recently been introduced.
