Google to Launch Pixel Watch 5 in Stephen Curry-Branded Special Edition

Google is preparing to release a special edition of its flagship Pixel Watch 5, developed in collaboration with basketball star Stephen Curry. According to leaked marketing materials, the key difference in this new model will be the unique strap design inspired by Curry’s signature style.

The strap is crafted in stone gray and taupe colors with bright orange accents and a striped end. A small brown tag features the inscriptions “STEPHEN CURRY” and “#LockIn” — Curry’s signature slogan. The manufacturer emphasizes that the accessory includes a water-resistant coating, making it suitable for intense workouts.

The special edition will retail for €579.99 (~$669), which is €31 more expensive than the standard LTE model of Pixel Watch 5. Google notes that production will be limited and availability may vary by region. The watch is expected to go on sale on August 20.

This is not the first collaboration between Google and Stephen Curry in the wearables segment. Earlier this year, the company released a special edition of the Fitbit Air fitness tracker with a similar color scheme and Curry’s branding. The new Pixel Watch 5 model continues this tradition, offering users a premium accessory with motivational design elements.
