Google Signs $920 Million Monthly Contract with SpaceX for AI Capabilities

Google is expanding its artificial intelligence capabilities by partnering with SpaceX. According to financial documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the contract is valued at $920 million per month. This marks the second major infrastructure deal for SpaceX in recent months, following a similar agreement with Anthropic.

As part of the collaboration, SpaceX will provide Google with access to high-performance computing power based on NVIDIA GPUs. These resources will be used to train and optimize AI models, including the flagship Gemini platform. The increased demand for computing power stems from the growing workload on AI systems and the need to scale infrastructure.

For SpaceX, this contract represents another step in developing its cloud computing segment.
