Leica Unveils Affordable 4K Laser Projector Cine Compact 1

Leica expands its projector lineup with the Cine Compact 1, a compact 4K model powered by RGB laser technology. The device features a Leica Summicron zoom lens, supports Dolby Vision, and delivers up to 1700 lumens of brightness. With a maximum image size of 220 inches, it serves as a versatile solution for home theaters and presentations.

Unlike its predecessor, the Cine Play 1, which retailed for around $3,800, the new model is priced at $1,995. It retains key premium features, including an aluminum body, glass front panel, and an adjustable stand for wall or ceiling projection. Leica also offers an optional floor stand and ceiling-mounting capability.

The projector supports automatic trapezoidal distortion correction, autofocus, and screen alignment for effortless setup. Built-in streaming apps, such as Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video, allow standalone use without additional devices. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, and USB, along with Apple AirPlay and HomeKit support.

The audio system features 20W built-in speakers with Dolby Digital Plus and DTS Virtual:X support. Despite its lower price, Leica maintains a focus on quality and functionality, making the Cine Compact 1 an appealing choice for enthusiasts of high-tech home entertainment solutions.
