LINE*, a subsidiary of Z Holdings, has rolled out an update for its AI assistant, Agent i. The service now offers enhanced personalization, allowing users to customize the bot’s response tone, choosing between formal, friendly, or even playful communication styles. For instance, users can select modes like "tsundere" (sharp but caring) or "butler" (polite and professional).

Another key innovation is the memory function. The AI agent now retains the context of previous conversations, enabling more natural and extended dialogues. Additionally, Agent i has introduced image generation based on text prompts, further expanding the service’s capabilities.

The update also includes an increase in thematic agents, now totaling 15, including beta versions. These agents specialize in various domains, from technical support to entertainment. LINE* continues to develop its platform, aiming to make AI interactions more flexible and tailored to individual user preferences.
