Luna, the developer of smart rings, has announced the upcoming launch of its new fitness tracker, Luna Band. The device features no screen, aligning with the trend toward minimalist wearables that has gained popularity in recent years. Unlike Fitbit Air and WHOOP, which require monthly subscriptions, Luna Band will operate without mandatory paid services.
Luna Band is made with hypoallergenic materials and offers a wide range of strap colors and textures. At its core is the LifeOS operating system, which supports integration with third-party apps, including Siri and Gemini. Users can customize personalized workflows, receive notifications via vibration, and track not only physical activity but also nutrition, supplement intake, and medical data.
One of its key features is voice control, similar to that in the Ring 2 smart ring. This allows users to log workouts without interacting with a smartphone app. The device boasts up to 10 days of battery life on a single charge. The official price has not yet been announced, but pre-orders will open on July 4, with the first shipments scheduled for July 31.
