Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra to Retain Previous Battery Capacity

New details about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra confirm that the company will not alter the device’s battery capacity. According to information from GalaxyClub, the flagship model will feature a battery with a nominal capacity of 11,374 mAh and a typical capacity of 11,600 mAh, matching the specifications of its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.

While the flagship model will not receive an upgrade in this aspect, the younger model in the lineup—the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus—may offer users an increased battery capacity. It is expected to have a capacity of around 10,500–10,600 mAh, which is 400–500 mAh more than the previous generation. This improvement will enhance the device’s battery life.

Despite the lack of changes to the battery, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will not be without updates. According to Android Authority, the tablet will be powered by the Dimensity 9500 chip (model MT6993), ensuring high performance for gaming and resource-intensive tasks. This underscores Samsung’s commitment to maintaining the competitiveness of its premium tablet segment.
