Samsung Unveils Budget Tablets Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE Plus

Samsung has refreshed its Galaxy Tab S10 FE lineup, introducing the FE and FE Plus models. These devices are positioned as more affordable versions of flagship tablets while maintaining an optimal feature set for most users.

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE features a 10.9-inch display, while the FE Plus version comes with a larger 13.1-inch screen. Both models run on the Samsung Exynos 1580 processor, replacing the MediaTek chips used in standard versions. Benchmark tests show the processor delivers sufficient performance for everyday tasks, though it lags behind Apple’s solutions, such as the M3 chip in the iPad Air.

The tablets’ LCD screens offer brightness and vibrant colors but do not match the quality of flagship AMOLED displays. One of the standout features of the new models is battery life: the Galaxy Tab S10 FE achieved up to 17 hours and 45 minutes in tests, earning a CNET Lab Award for "Maximum Battery Life."

The models are also 4% lighter than their predecessors, and the main camera has been upgraded to 13 megapixels. The FE Plus version lacks the secondary ultra-wide camera but retains the larger screen. For users prioritizing a bigger display and extended battery life, the FE Plus is an optimal choice.

Experts note that the FE series tablets deliver about 75% of flagship capabilities at a significantly lower price. Existing Samsung users can save even more through trade-in programs. However, professionals requiring top-tier display quality or performance may prefer the flagship Galaxy Tab S10 Plus or upcoming S11 models.
