Swedish Startup Lovable Expands Google Cloud Partnership Fivefold

Swedish startup Lovable, known for its coding automation tools, has significantly expanded its partnership with Google Cloud. The new agreement includes a fivefold increase in cloud resource consumption, along with the adoption of advanced artificial intelligence technologies. The company already leverages Google’s solutions and will now gain access to enhanced capabilities of Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini models.

The deal places special emphasis on integrating Anthropic Claude—an AI model widely used for programming tasks. Google previously invested $10 billion in Anthropic and pledged an additional $30 billion upon the company achieving specific milestones. Lovable, with annual revenue exceeding $400 million and a client base encompassing over half of the Fortune 500, could play a pivotal role in reaching these goals.

Under the agreement, Lovable’s solutions will be available through Google Cloud’s enterprise marketplace, streamlining procurement for large clients. Additionally, the startup will integrate Wiz, a security platform acquired by Google for $32 billion, to swiftly detect and remediate code vulnerabilities. This collaboration will bolster both companies’ positions in the enterprise IT solutions market.
