Sony Unveils Flagship Modular Audio System Bravia Theater Trio

Sony has announced its new flagship audio system, the Bravia Theater Trio, positioned as a premium solution for home theaters. Unlike traditional soundbars, this system consists of three separate modules, each dedicated to a specific channel: left, right, and center. This design enables more precise and balanced audio, especially in complex scenes with dynamic soundscapes.

During a presentation in New York, journalists tested the system using a clip from *Dune: Part Two*. The sound was reproduced with high accuracy, clearly capturing not only dialogue but also background noises like rustling fabric and creaking metal. Developers paid special attention to the center channel, ensuring crystal-clear speech reproduction without artificial sound enhancement technologies.

The Bravia Theater Trio supports spatial audio technologies, including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and IMAX Enhanced. Additionally, the system features 360 Sound Mapping, which analyzes room acoustics and optimizes sound without requiring extra speakers. For enhanced bass, users can connect the Sony Bravia Sub 9 subwoofer, adding depth and dimension to the audio experience.
