Sony Reveals Release Dates and Prices for New PlayStation Accessories

Sony has finally revealed details about the release of three previously announced accessories for PlayStation 5. Two of them—the wireless FlexStrike arcade stick and a gaming monitor with a DualSense charging dock—will go on sale in August, with pre-orders starting in June. The third device, the Pulse Elevate Bluetooth speakers, still lacks official release dates and pricing.

FlexStrike, introduced last July, is positioned as a specialized controller for fighting games. Its key feature is integration with the PlayStation ecosystem: the stick includes buttons and a touchpad similar to the DualSense, allowing full use of the controller’s features without limitations. The device supports connection to the Pulse Elite wireless headset via the PS Link adapter for minimal audio latency and voice chat. The manufacturer claims an input lag of just 4ms and up to 40 hours of battery life. The package includes a carrying case and a compartment for cable storage.

The 27-inch Sony gaming monitor with QHD resolution (2560×1440) stands out with its built-in dock for charging the DualSense controller. The display supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz when connected to a PS5 and up to 240Hz when used with a PC or Mac via DisplayPort. The monitor features Auto HDR Tone Mapping technology to enhance visual perception in games. Other features include two HDMI ports, DisplayPort, USB Type-A and Type-C, built-in speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Brightness and HDR support details are yet to be confirmed.
