WWDC 2026: Apple to Unveil iOS 27, Upgraded Siri, and New OS Updates

Apple’s WWDC 2026 developer conference kicks off on June 8 at 20:00 Moscow time. The focus will be on software updates, including iOS 27, macOS 27, iPadOS 27, and watchOS 27. While no new hardware is expected, Apple may preview features optimized for a future foldable iPhone.

The main announcement at WWDC 2026 will be an upgraded Siri with AI integration. According to Bloomberg, Apple is testing a standalone Siri app and exploring chatbot functionality using technologies similar to Google Gemini. iOS 27 and other OS updates may introduce generative AI features, such as enhanced photo and video editing tools.

macOS 27 is expected to drop support for Intel Macs as Apple completes its transition to Apple Silicon. iPadOS 27 may adopt macOS-like features, including an updated menu and Apple Intelligence tools. watchOS 27 could introduce redesigned watch faces, while Vision Pro may gain new accessibility features like gesture control and real-time subtitles.

Though a foldable iPhone won’t debut at WWDC, iOS 27 may include hints of its development. Analysts predict the device will launch this fall, priced from $2,000, with a design resembling the Google Pixel Fold. The conference will also mark Tim Cook’s final WWDC as Apple CEO, with John Ternus, SVP of hardware engineering, set to succeed him in September.
