WWDC 2026: Apple Unveils Upgraded Siri and New Apple Intelligence Features

WWDC 2026, kicking off on June 10, will serve as the platform for announcing key updates across Apple’s ecosystem. The centerpiece of the event will be a radical overhaul of the Siri voice assistant, enhanced with artificial intelligence capabilities. According to sources, the upgraded Siri will better understand context, execute multi-step tasks, and interact with apps more naturally.

One of the most anticipated innovations may be the introduction of a standalone Siri app, allowing users to engage with the assistant in a format similar to popular AI chat platforms. The app is also expected to include an automatic conversation deletion feature, with options for 30 days, one year, or no time limit. To bolster Siri’s capabilities, Apple will leverage Google Gemini technologies.

Beyond Siri, WWDC 2026 will feature announcements in Apple Intelligence. The company plans to integrate AI agents into the App Store, enabling users to delegate routine tasks such as booking tables, editing documents, or managing smart home devices. Updates will also extend to the Camera and Photos apps: the former will introduce a "Visual Intelligence" section with object recognition, while the latter will offer tools for automatic photo optimization and removing unwanted elements.

The Wallet app will also receive attention, gaining a bill-splitting feature. Users will be able to photograph receipts and send payment requests to friends or colleagues. Additionally, Wallet will support creating digital passes from physical tickets or loyalty cards. Apple is also expected to unveil new visionOS features and improve the stability of AI services across its devices.
