Xbox Game Pass to Add Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy in August 2026

Microsoft has announced the second wave of games joining Xbox Game Pass in August 2026, with Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy as the standout addition—a sequel to the popular A Plague Tale series. Set 15 years after the events of A Plague Tale: Requiem, players will take control of a young Sophia as she explores the Minotaur’s Island and uncovers the secrets of an ancient curse. The game promises a mix of action, puzzle-solving, and a rich mythological setting.

Other titles joining the service include Vapor World: Open the Mind, a side-scrolling soulslike where players navigate a sorrow-filled mind, and Blood Dungeon, an auto-shooter with survival elements that requires collecting blood and bones to power up characters. Both games will be available to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers on August 19 and 25, respectively.
