Xiaomi Reports Delivery of 80,000 Electric Vehicles in Q1 2026

Chinese corporation Xiaomi has released its financial report for the first quarter of 2026. The company's total revenue reached $13.8 billion, with innovative sectors—including electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, and other advanced technologies—contributing $2.8 billion.
Special attention in the report is given to the automotive division. During the reporting period, Xiaomi delivered 80,856 smart electric vehicles, confirming this segment as a key growth driver. Since deliveries began in March 2024, the total number of electric vehicles sold has exceeded 655,000 units.
Investments in research and development continue to rise: the company spent $1.25 billion on R&D in the quarter, a third more than the previous year. This figure reflects Xiaomi's strategy to strengthen its position in high-tech sectors.
