Xiaomi Unveils First Wireless REDMI Headphones Neo with ANC and 72-Hour Battery

Xiaomi expands its audio lineup with the first wireless earbuds under the REDMI sub-brand. The REDMI Headphones Neo is positioned as an affordable solution with advanced features, including active noise cancellation (ANC). The technology reduces external noise by up to 42dB, making the earbuds ideal for noisy environments like public transport or offices.

A key highlight of the new product is its battery life. The manufacturer claims up to 72 hours of playback on a single charge, significantly surpassing many competitors. For comparison, most wireless ANC earbuds average 20–30 hours. The REDMI Headphones Neo also supports fast charging, though details on this feature are not yet available.

Sales in Japan will begin shortly. As part of an early booking promotion until June 8, the special price is ¥6,980 (approximately $45 or ¥4,200 based on current exchange rates), which is ¥1,000 lower than the standard price. The package includes the earbuds, charging case, USB-C cable, and documentation. Technical specifications such as codec support or water resistance have not been disclosed.
